International debit card

  • Get accepted at over 25 million retail outlets worldwide and over one million ATMs
  • Withdraw up to OMR 800 from HSBC Oman ATMs and up to OMR 500 from OmanNet switch ATMs daily
  • Link up to two additional accounts to your debit card

Plus:

  • Free internet banking, phone banking, and SMS alerts – bank where and when it suits you
  • HSBC cheque book for OMR 2 – if your cheque book is lost or stolen, protect your account with the Stop Cheque service
  • Overdraft protection and bill auto-payment services

Sole Account

You need to complete the current account opening process by personally visiting any of HSBC Oman's branches or Customer Service Centres, with the following documents:

  • Identity card (for Omanis)
  • Valid passport with valid visa (for expatriates) + valid resident card
  • Salary certificate (for customers working in government/public sector companies)
  • Original trade licence (for all self-employed customers)


Joint Account

Both you and your joint applicant(s) need to complete the current account opening process by personally visiting any of HSBC Oman's branches or Customer Service Centres, with the following documents:

  • Identity card (for Omanis)
  • Valid passport with valid visa (expatriates) + valid resident card
  • Salary certificate (for customers working in government/public sector companies)
  • Original trade licence (for all self-employed customers)
