Our Savings Account offers you the benefit of earning interest on your credit balance, an international ATM card with free access to the OmanSwitch ATMs, a monthly composite statement and much more. The account is available in OMR and other major currencies (USD, GBP and EUR).
Features & Benefits
- An interest bearing account with no restrictions on deposits and withdrawals (subject to minimum average balance requirements)
- Interest paid on minimum balance during a calendar month and credited quarterly (in January, April, July and October)
- Interest rates fluctuate depending on market conditions
- Customer can deposit cash/cheques & withdraw any amount during banking hours or withdraw cash up to OMR 500 per day via HSBC/OmanSwitch ATMs
- No cheque book
- Monthly composite statements
- Minimum monthly balance of OMR 100 to be maintained Otherwise a service charge of OMR 1 will be levied for the month
- Service fee is waived if a loan is taken (subject to Bank approval)
- Customer may use other account related services
- Each customer will be entitled to one ATM card only. Up to three accounts may be linked to the same ATM card
