SERVICE CHARGES
If a minimum average relationship balance of OMR35,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency) is not maintained in deposit(s)/investments with HSBC Oman, a Premier service charge of OMR20 will be levied per month.*
Customers who qualify for Premier based on their salary/income eligibility, must maintain a deposit of and/or invest OMR 35,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency) within 12 months to avoid charges and discontinued service.
* The Bank may withdraw Premier status and reclassify the account if the required balance is not maintained for three consecutive months in a year. (Applicable on balance-based customers only.)

a) Beneficiary of the remittance may be required to pay a charge depending on the conditions set by the remitter or his/her bank.
b) For non-account holders, remittances will only be paid in cash if the remittance has originated from a HSBC Group Bank.
c) If the amount is to be credited in another currency to a HSBC account, the prevailing exchange rate will apply.
d) Above charges are HSBC Oman charges only. Other banks, including HSBC offices abroad, may deduct their charges from the remittance amount. USD 25 will be charged as our correspondent bank charges for all USD transfers where the final beneficiary is not HSBC in the US.
e) Non-HSBC beneficiary bank charges on telegraphic transfers are not guaranteed by HSBC or our correspondents. Some non-HSBC beneficiary banks in the United States may still deduct their charges from the total remittance amount.
